While he was passing his days in Chatak Parvat, Puri, he was often heard to sing the poetry of Srila Rupa Goswami and Srila Raghunatha dasa Goswami: “Oh Govardhana! Please fulfill my desire, Oh Govardhana! Please give me a dwelling place on the banks of the pond nearby You.”

Chatak Parvat is a sand dune hill in the Tota Gopinath area of Jagannath Puri and is considered non different from the Govardhana hill in Vrindavan. Srila Prabhupada established Sri Gaudiya Math there and was very fond of that sacred sanctuary, surcharged with Mahaprabhu’s divine sentiments of separation.
